ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Susanna Kraus is the visionary head of the IMAGO project. It was she who initiated and completed the reconstruction of the IMAGO Camera in 2006. Since then, she has not only been responsible for creations such as the mobile IMAGO Fotour and the revival of the production process for direct-positive photographic paper, but also manages the daily process of IMAGOgrafie in the Kunstraum am Moritzplatz.
Closely interwoven with this activity is Susanna Kraus’s work as an artist. 25 years of experience in drama, performative art, scenography and directing, together with a pure focus on the analogue medium IMAGO Camera, are the basis of her singular and varied work. One of her leitmotifs is the portrayal of various social groups and subcultures. In the experimental application of the analogous techniques available to her, Susanna Kraus works out the essence of personalities.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Alex Grennigloh studied at the Ostkreuz School of Photography in Berlin. Since 2014 he has been a part of IMAGO, he takes over Portrait Sessions and supports Susanna Kraus in major shootings. Alexander accompanied Susanna and the IMAGO Fotour to China where he was responsible for the Portrait Sessions. In addition to working at IMAGO, he works as a freelance photographer and artist.
Ann Katrin Warter studied at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin with Ute and Werner Mahler, Jonas Maron and Sibylle Fendt. She has been part of the IMAGO team since 2017. In addition to assisting with portrait appointments, she also looks after the digitization and visualization of IMAGO content.

BACKSTAGE
The photographer Annegret Kohlmayer is a qualified lecturer at the Higher Federal Institute of Graphic Arts, Education and Research in Vienna. Her passionate engagement with the artistic possibilities of the IMAGO Camera and the peculiarities of the direct positive paper is visible in many of her works and this has contributed significantly to the success of IMAGO. Annegret Kohlmayer supported Susanna Kraus for many years in exploring the photographic possibilities of the IMAGO Camera..
The former general director of the company ILFORD discovers at the Photokina 2008 the portraits from the IMAGO, which were produced with a photo emulsion produced by ILFORD. Fascinated by their expressiveness, he sets about securing the production of this unique direct-positive paper for the future. He succeeded in 2013 to secure the technology of direct positive paper exclusively for IMAGO. Today, HARMAN Technology UK is responsible for the paper’s production.
Gisela Kaiser studied psychology, philosophy and political science. As an entrepreneur, she was instrumental in financing the construction of the IMAGO Fotour Camera and supports the entire project as an enthusiastic and irreplaceable source of ideas for its marketing. She is a co-partner in the IMAGO Fotour GmbH, founded in 2013.
CONSTRUCTION
The head of the IMAGO Fotour logistics. Most of all, he drives the mobile IMAGO to exhibitions and actions in the world. In 2005 he and his brother Jakob restored the original IMAGO Camera. Paul studies mechanical engineering in Hamburg and has already brought his knowledge to the construction of the IMAGO Fotour.
Eike Döring was born in Dresden and has lived in Berlin for many years. His fields of work include, among others, electrical and stage technology. He is responsible for the electro-technical fine-tuning work at the IMAGO Camera and is also responsible for set up and dismantling. Martin Reinhart and Eike are an unbeatable team for the further development of the special IMAGO photo and lighting technology.
Matti Volkamer lives in Berlin where he studies cultural history. .He has been part of the technology team since 2013 and is part of the team responsible for setting up and dismantling the IMAGO Camera at various locations. In addition he participated in the construction of the Fotour under the direction of Jakob Kraus.
Lukas Schmidt Wiegand studies design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Potsdam. He has been part of the technology team since 2013 and is part of the team responsible for setting up and dismantling the IMAGO Camera at various locations. In addition he participated in the construction of the Fotour under the direction of Jakob Kraus.
